SCE Undergrounding Project in Wrightwood
Southern California Edison (SCE) is undergrounding power lines in Wrightwood's high fire risk areas as part of its wildfire mitigation efforts. Underground power lines help reduce wildfire risk, improve reliability during storms and high winds, and minimize outages caused by vegetation, debris, and other hazards. Construction is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2026. 2026 WCSD Board Election
Three seats on the Wrightwood Community Services District Board of Directors are up for election as part of the November 3, 2026 General Election. The candidate filing deadline is Friday, August 7, 2026.
