Vice President Rick Christensen

Rick Christensen has been happily married to Brenda for 27 years. Together, they have raised seven children and enjoy the blessings of eight grandchildren. Rick has cherished Wrightwood as a favorite destination for over five decades, visiting frequently to ski and enjoy its natural beauty.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. His professional journey spanned roles from design engineer to Chief Executive Officer, ending with his retirement as an infrastructure engineer at Edwards Air Force Base, California.

In 2016, Rick purchased property in Wrightwood, building a home where he now resides full-time. He deeply values the community as a hub for family, faith, fun, and connection. Recognizing that some of Wrightwood’s infrastructure challenges have remained unsolved for over a century, Rick has determined several viable solutions and is committed to implementing them. New challenges come next and can be solved in like manner. As a member of the Wrightwood Community Services District, he works diligently to overcome these challenges and contribute to the long-term well-being of his beloved town.
